Mahatma Jyoti Phoole University  is an 100 acre bg University on the Jaipur-Delhi highway. Mahatma Jyoti Phoole University is Rajasthan’s first private University which is recognized by Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR) as Scientific Industrial Research Organization (SIROs). The University was started in 1973 with the aim to impart education and knowledge to women. It is an all-girls University and offers courses in Engineering, Science, Law, Agriculture etc. It covers almost all major streams and including this diploma course also offers various other diploma courses other than the Bachelors and Masters courses. The college  started off just as an Arts college and grew to its present size. It only became a University in 2009. It is a three year course with six semesters in it. The course costs Rs. 19,000 per semester although scholarships are offered which make a huge difference to those who will not be able to afford it. Although the basic eligibility is 50% in your 10th grade an above 90% marks card will earn you a 50% scholarship from the University itself. Those with a lesser percentage also could get scholarships as there are scholarships available even for as low as 60% where there is a 10% reduction in fees.

The course is mainly based on training students in understanding electric magnetic fields,computer fundamentals,electronic networks and devices,communication and control systems. The course will teach you to develop components,devices and equipment.

Over the first year students will mainly be thought application based subjects in Chemistry,Physics,Mechanics etc. As you move on to the second year it becomes more practical based with subjects such as Industrial Electronics, Network filters and Transmission lines etc. The course turns more practical but harder in the second year. In the third year subjects such as Communication System,Advance Microprocessor & Interface,Bio Medical Electronics etc. The three years are filled with intense subjects which makes the coure hard and at the same time interesting. It manages to open up a lot of career options. Few prominent career options include Production Quality Manager, Electrical and Electronic Engineering,Programmer Analyst etc. They are all big job profiles for a good future.
