ITI in Machinist Grinder
ITI in Machinist Grinder is a machine tools grinding vocational trade. During class teaching, students are introduced to different aspects of machine and other grinding techniques; topics like operating a variety of machine tools to produce parts and instruments; instrument makers who fabricate, modify or repair mechanical instruments; fabricating and modifying parts to make or repair machine tools or maintaining industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout and machining procedures. Trade is career orienting in nature that opens many job fields for them.
Duration : 2 Years with four semesters.
Eligibility : Passed 10th class examination under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent.

It has both theory and practical classes.
Required Skills
- Candidates should be able to operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce metal parts.
- They should be good at calculation numbers, for instance, where to cut or bore; shape steel, aluminium, titanium, plastic, silicon and other materials; determine how fast or slow work-piece is fed into machine.
- They possess common sense such as operating all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools to perform precision machining operations.
