BES Institute of Polytechnic, Bangalore an organ of Bharath Education Society (BES) was started in the year 2003. BES was started in the year 1971 with an aim of providing quality education to the poor, downtrodden and rural students.
The BES was allotted citizen’s (welfare) facility site #27 by the C.l.T.B at Jayanagar 4th block, a prime location in Bangalore city. From there on the progress of BES rose from a very humble inception of its start in a makeshift building to a fully fledged array of multi-storage concrete structures, surveying in the cause of education.
BES is having many feathers to its crown, built its first pillar as ‘B.E.S Evening College of Arts and Commerce’ in the year 1971 reached to today’s position with the following milestones. The infrastructures like building, library, laboratories, furniture, equipments and other facilities like vast playground, covered auditorium, ladies hostel, bank, and canteen.

All the activities of these institutions are smoothly managed and quality education imparted is suitably monitored by the managing committee and corrective steps are taken as and when needed as guided by the society founder Sri. B.L. Lakke Gowda and members of BES.

Laboratories
We have well equipped lab facility as per requirement of Director of Technical Education (DTE) and curriculum to suit the present needs of changing scenario in the industry and to meet global standards.

Library
The library is a treasure house of knowledge comparable to reserve bank of India as far as knowledge is concerned. Anybody staff or student has to invariably come to library to take charge of well stacked books in the relevant subject and transfer knowledge

Our stock consists of only relevant connected subject books for reference and no single book is obsolete and redundant. Therefore every book can be referred by one and all and utilized to optimum level
The library is managed by a sincere and dedicated librarian who at all times is always ready to help either a reader or guide the book borrower in selecting the right book untiredly. The library also maintains the collection of question papers of previous year’s board examinations, syllabus copies for various courses and other reading supplements which will enhance overall development and personality.

Seminar Hall
The Seminar Hall in the institute has modern amenities and number of syndicate rooms to conduct workshop, seminar, presentations, symposium and modern tutorial rooms with facility of overhead and LCD projectors,audio visual aids such as computer, and public address system for conducting seminars/conferences and undertaking discussion oriented activities. This seminar hall is aesthetically well designed and furnished in a state of the art fashion.

Auditorium
Our more than 500-seater Auditorium is the crowning glory of the Institute. This air conditioned auditorium show cases all the cultural activities that the institute is so famous for. It is available exclusively for institutional and departmental programmes.The Acoustically Treated Auditorium is equipped with most advanced Line Array Speaker System (XLC), Midas Sound Console (Venice 320) Digital Dimmer System, high quality projector and automated cameras. Food court, motorized curtains and ample vehicle parking space are some of the other features.

Ladies Hostel
At BES, we are proud to say that our ladies hostel is a HOME away from home is accorded to provide the best services and facilities giving due care and utmost Security to the inmates. The hostilities are provided hygienic and tasty menu at reasonable cost with furnished accommodation in a good ambience at affordable cost. Warden on duty ensure smooth monitoring and upkeep discipline by adopting proactive and preventive measures.

Play-ground
We have a spacious play ground area for outdoor games like Volley ball, Basket ball, Shuttle cock, Throw ball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, etc, and facilities for indoor games such as Carom and Chess are also available.

Co-operative Bank
The Bharath co-operative bank Limited is an asset to the staff members which takes care of all their Banking needs. Bank is also serving the public for their banking and financial needs.

Canteen
The College has canteen facility located at the campus catering to the needs of staff & students serving quality & hygienic food at reasonable cost.
