KLE Society’s Polytechnic, Bailhongal has been established in the year 2008 with an objective of imparting quality technical education for rural youth. The institute is located on the outskirts of Bailhongal city and is at a distance of about 45 km from both Belgaum & Dharwad cities. The city of Bailhongal has a historical background of likes of Kittur Rani Channamma, Belawadi Mallamma & Sangolli Rayanna. The campus has an area of 6 acres, 29 gunta. The institute is a self financed non minority institute recognized by AICTE, New Delhi & Government of Karnataka. It is affiliated to Board of Technical Education, Bangalore. The institute provides full medical insurance to all students by issuing KLE Health card that enables to avail services of KLE’S Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital & MRC., Belgaum. Polytechnic also provides transport facility for student’s conveyance.

• ISTE

The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), New Delhi chapter for students & institution are being established.

Well furnished library with book lending facility to students. Digital library is being established.

Sport is needed for healthy mind and body. KLE’S students are exposed to regular physical and and sport activities. Students have the scope to participate in various inter polytechnic sports.

Well furnished hostel facility for both Boys & Girls with mini library, internet facility are proposed.
