KLE Society’s Smt. Chanabasamma Ishwarappa Munavalli Polytechnic, Hubli was established in the year 1984 by prestigious educational society of South India, the Karnataka Lingayat Education Society, Belgaum. The college is situated on Pune – Bangalore National Highway, adjacent to several prominent education institutions. The area is called Vidyanagar, owing to the most conducive atmosphere prevalent for academic perseverance. The college is housed in an imposing building with all the modern architecture and lush green lawns on its campus. • Staff

The faculty of the institution is highly qualified with rich experience in teaching. Each member of the staff gives individual attention to the students. The examination results have all along been good.

• Laboratories

The laboratories of all departments are well equipped with modern machines and equipment. Each student can work individually on the equipments.

• Communication Lab

A “multimedia educational network system” software has been installed in computer lab, for effective learning and concentration of students. It is a step towards creating multimedia classroom environment and a attractive video courseware for students, and makes easy communication between teachers and students.

• Library

The library of the institute contains large number of books and periodicals. Additions of latest books and journals in the field of allied subjects are made every year. National and International magazines and periodicals are subscribed regularly. The library and reading room is open to students between 8:00am to 10:00pm throughout the week, except Sundays and Govt. holidays.

• Student counselling

The principal and the staff maintain close and personal contact with individual students. They are available for advice and help on all matters pertaining to their education and welfare.

• Guidance

The teaching staff of the institute is available to attend to student’s’ difficulties by prior appointments.

• Study tours

The institute conducts study tours to various places. Faculty and students regularly participate in National & International seminars, conferences, exhibitions and competitions.

• Prizes & Trophies

The institute encourages and motivates students by awarding prizes, awards and trophies for their talents in various spheres of activities. These events are printed in the K L E’ s Bulletin News, a quarterly magazine published by the society.

Separate hostel facilities for both boys & girls is provided within the college campus.
