Diploma in Mechatronics is synergistic integration of mechanical engineering, electronics and intelligent computer control in design and manufacture of products and processes.

Mechatronics studies synergistic fusion of precise Mechatronical Units, Electronics, & Electro-Technical and Computer Components for the purpose of designing and manufacturing qualitatively new Modules, Systems, Machines and complexes of Machines with intellectual control of their functional movements.

Skills Required

Some mechanical ability and familiarity with the industrial workplace is required along with a desire to advance in a challenging field where skills are rewarded.

Practical

Bench work, Machining, Sheet metal work,Arc Welding and Gas Cutting, Soldering, Equipment wiring,PCB design and fabrication,Winding of coils and transformers, Testing and measuring of electronic instruments, troubleshooting, Microprocessor programming and Interfacing,Industrial electronics,CNC operation, Programming and Maintenance,Computer hardware and software, mechatronics design and fabrication of prototype automatic equipments,Computer programming with C,C++ and Visual Basic.

Project work

Eligibility & Admission

Pass in SSLC /PUC /12th class or equivalent with minimum 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% in Science. Age 19 years maximum as on the date of admission. Height 155cm(Min) and Weight 40kg(Min).(Height and Weight relaxable if medically fit).
