Cauvery Polytechnic, Kodagu

Cauvery Education Society (CES) was registered under the Karnataka Society’s Act, in the year 1968 with the aim of establishing higher educational institutions in Kodagu. The management felt the need for technical education in this part of Kodagu district to enable the youth to better their career prospects. Cauvery Polytechnic was thus started in the year 1986 with a noble aim, to impart technical education in Coorg , within the campus of Cauvery College in Gonikppal. Cauvery Polytechnic, recognized by the Government of Karnataka and AICTE, New Delhi is now a well-established institution with an annual student intake of 210.

Cauvery Polytechnic, Kodagu is currently being offered in the following departments.

  • Sufficient sport material and kit to facilitate the sport activities.
  • The departments have staff room for the departmental faculties.
  • The college has separate common room girls and female staff with an attendant taking care of the requirements.
  • The college Time-Table is organized / scheduled in such way that maximum use of infrastructure becomes possible. The college runs in morning and  afternoon shift.
  • Separate hostel facilities available for girls & boys
  • We are conducting extra coaching classes for basic subjects. A proper coordination in between all the branches makes the maximum utilization of  infrastructure possible.
