Government Polytechnic, Gulbarga is a Government institution situated in Gulbarga and it was established in the year 1956. The institution is located in a sprawling campus of 6.7 acres. At present, the polytechnic is wholly run by the Government of Karnataka and comes under the purview of Directorate of Technical Education. This is a highly reputed institution and is a recipient of various projects grants from central government and state government. This polytechnic is a nodal center for online state-level diploma admission process and zonal valuation center for the districts of Gulbarga, Yadgir, Bidar, Raichur & Bijapur.
