Placement Industry Institute interaction
Technical Education forms the backbone of development of a nation. The industry is the major consumer of technical institution product. The real requirement of the industry will be explored only through effective interaction with them. The interaction between the industry and institute is now widely recognized. A good & vibrant industry institute interaction is always required by both sides.
Being a rural polytechnic in Mysore district, placement cell is actively working towards excellence. We are continuously in touch with the neighbour industries in and around Mysore, for recruitment of students, for industrial visits and for short-term courses as per their curriculum.

The placement cell has put great effort by attracting many local industries for a campus like Triveni Engineering, Mysore for Mechanical students, Kaynes Technology, Mysore for Electronics and Communication department, Theorems, Mysore for Computer science students and few construction companies for Civil Engg. students.

Other than recruitment we are having a strong relationship with industries for our industrial visit as per our curriculum like BEMEL, GTTC, Mysore, Infosys, and Toyota. Even we are able to enhance communication skills and technical skills of students by conducting workshop programs in coordination with some training institute like 10X Technovations, Training and placement Forum, Mysore. We are planning for a workshop for hands-on experience in laser for mechanical students with the cooperation by GTTC, Mysore.

Directly or indirectly many of our students are working in MNC’s and in local industries in various departments such as Design, Production and in Quality control. Many of our students are pursuing their higher studies in part-time with their jobs.

In the coming years, we hope for the betterment of placements to various prestigious companies and enrich our coordination with our neighbor industries to carry out different programs, workshops and to conduct seminars to know the industrial requirements and current trends and technology in use.
